Before founding CrossContinentalVentures, Alex was a member of the Executive Committee of Siebel Systems, where he was responsible for building a major presence in EMEA as VP and General Manager, growing revenues, customer and employee base tenfold in just two years. He then ran the Americas geography, Siebel’s largest market with revenue responsibilities of over $1B.

Prior to Siebel Systems, Alex played key executive roles within SAP AG (member of the extended global board) and SAP America (Executive Committee member) for almost a decade.

Darcy uses his extensive global experience and ecosystem to provide high quality people and solutions. Darcy is currently the CEO of DML Holdings, investing and participating in startups and various businesses throughout the world.

In his last role, Darcy was the President and Regional Executive, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa for NorthgateArinso (NGA). Upon his departure in 2011, Darcy managed business that exceeded sales of 100M USD. Beyond leading the commercial markets, he was the architect responsible for developing the NGA Offshore strategy, supporting international clients around the world with a unique blended offshore model that provided quality, cost effectiveness and unparalleled client satisfaction.

Jos Sluys founded Saffelberg Investments, a leading investment fund based in Gooik, Belgium, with a focus on helping entrepreneurs create value. Until 2007, Jos Sluys was CEO, Director & majority shareholder of ARINSO International, listed on Euronext Brussels.

Jos developed ARINSO from a local Belgian SAP-HR implementation company with 20 staff and a turnover of 1.5 million euro in 1995, to a group operating in 27 countries in EMEA, the Americas and AsiaPac, with consolidated net sales of 220 million euro and over 2,500 staff.

Jos is considered an expert in IT Services and Business Transformation, and sits on the board of numerous companies across various industries.

Klaus is a Member of the Supervisory Board, President of EMEA and EVP of Strategic Investments at Neusoft Ltd. Prior to this, Klaus was responsible for establishing SAP’s business in North Asia and was the Chairman and CEO of SAP North Asia for many years.

Based on his experience of over 20 years, Klaus is recognized as an expert in doing business in China. He was the first foreigner recipient of the “Most Valuable Entrepreneur” award.

Les is a seasoned executive in a ‘semi-retirement’ mode. He was a member of the Extended Board at SAP and the CEO/President of SAP Asia Pacific during its most rapid growth. Apart from being on the Board of companies such as Matchcode, PE International, Umantis and Carbon Guerrilla, Les is also a sought after speaker and advisor to national governments and major corporations globally.

He is also the Founder and President at AtelierSAP.

Paul is currently the CEO of Causata and CEO in Residence at Accel Partners. He has many years of experience in leading and managing large enterprise software companies. He was the former COO & President at Siebel Systems.

Prior to that, Paul was a Board Member at SAP and CEO at SAP Americas. During his stint at SAP Americas, he was responsible for driving SAP’s successful growth in the American market and establishing SAP as a global powerhouse.

Raul was responsible for establishing SAP’s presence and growth in Latin America during his role as Regional President for SAP Latin America.

During his tenure at SAP, Raul was also the Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and the COO of Business Objects, an SAP company. Raul is now an advisor to many startups.

Rick is an experienced enterprise software executive and currently CEO of JackBe. Prior to that, he was the President and CEO of QlikTech Inc. and responsible for establishing QlikTech’s presence in the US.

He was also the VP of SMB Channel Sales & Development at SAP America and the Managing Director, President and CEO of iXOS Inc. Americas.

Andy has a passion for building and guiding startups and small companies into high speed growth and market leadership positions. With over 23 years of experience in the highly competitive enterprise software industry, Andy has held senior sales and executive leadership positions in IBM, Siebel and small/medium startups.

Most recently he was managing director and vice president of QlikTech (NASDAQ: QLIK), where for five years, he built and managed the UK and Irish operations from scratch and then progressed to building the company’s global enterprise accounts business and first industry business unit in financial services. Andy is now a investor in, and advisor to, the hi-tech sector. He holds a honors degree in Business Information Systems.

Paul Melchiorre, currently Vice President of Sales for Ariba, Inc. has more than 20 years of technology and management experience. Paul joined Ariba in 1998 as Vice President of Operations for the Americas. He built the sales, services, channels, and alliances organizations that took Ariba from zero revenue to $700 million in annual sales.

Previously, Paul was Senior Vice President for Global Accounts at SAP America, Inc. where he helped grow revenues six-fold and oversaw several strategic business units. Paul also served as Regional Vice President of MAI Basic 4 and held management positions at ADP.

Paul received a BA from Villanova University and an MBA from Drexel University.
